Used as a privacy bolt or medium security deadbolt.Sometimes used on a double swinging kitchen door to keep dogs in the kitchen. For this use you must purchase an extra No. 147 x 148 turnpiece (discontinued). When used in this way, the lock may be locked or unlocked from either side of door.1-3/4″ Backset. 2-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ Backsets were also made (No. 153 & No. 155).Includes one traditional turnpiece.
